Poland · HoReCa 10 units 32″ self-order kiosk

Self-service ordering kiosks for restaurants — 10 units shipped to Poland

A Polish hospitality operator needed the self-order terminal format customers know from large fast-food chains, built to their own design rather than bought off a catalogue. We produced a batch of ten 32-inch kiosks, integrated the payment terminal and receipt printer they had already standardised on, and shipped DDP.

What was delivered

The two problems worth describing

Most of a kiosk build is routine. On this project two things were not, and they are the parts a buyer with the same requirement should ask any supplier about.

1. Payment terminal handler and socket — Ingenico Lane 3000

The customer had standardised on the Ingenico Lane 3000 PIN pad. Mounting it is the easy half; making it talk reliably to the kiosk software is not. The work was in the handler and the physical socket — how the terminal is seated, cabled and addressed so that a payment attempt behaves the same way every time, on a machine that has to run unattended in a restaurant.

2. Thermal printer positioning — POSENT Thermal HD EJ

The POSENT Thermal HD EJ receipt printer had to sit where the paper path, the tear-off point and the service access all work in a cabinet that also houses a 32-inch panel and a payment terminal. Printer positioning sounds trivial until a jam means someone has to open the machine during a lunch rush.

If you need something similar

We build self-service ordering kiosks to your own design, with your choice of payment terminal and printer, from 10 units. Indicative pricing for the 32-inch self-payment kiosk starts at USD 540 per unit — the final figure depends on enclosure design, controller, and which peripherals you integrate. Single sample units are available before a production run.

Tell us the payment terminal and printer you already use. If we have not integrated that exact model before, we will say so.
