The rule this tool uses
Minimum viewing distance (m) ≈ pixel pitch (mm) × 1. Comfortable, fully-seamless viewing distance ≈ pixel pitch (mm) × 1.5–2. Pixel density = (1,000 ÷ pitch in mm)² per m².
This is the same rule explained in full, with worked examples, in
LED video wall pixel pitch explained — check any result below by hand from that formula.
Your project
The shortest distance any regular viewer will stand from the wall.

Height
Cabinets are 600 × 337.5 mm (16:9), so the built wall rounds up to the nearest full cabinet grid.

SkyTroni's indoor fine-pitch range
The calculator only recommends pitches SkyTroni actually manufactures and ships. Full technical specifications are on the LED video walls page.
| Pitch | Pixels / m² | Min. viewing distance | Comfortable distance | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| P0.9 | 1,234,568 | 0.9 m | 1.35–1.8 m | Control rooms, broadcast studios |
| P1.2 | 694,444 | 1.2 m | 1.8–2.4 m | NOC/SOC, large-format desktop walls |
| P1.5 | 444,444 | 1.5 m | 2.25–3 m | Executive boardrooms, flagship retail |
| P1.8 | 308,642 | 1.8 m | 2.7–3.6 m | Corporate lobbies, mid-size boardrooms |
| P2.5 | 160,000 | 2.5 m | 3.75–5 m | Corporate lobbies, showrooms, retail |
Check it by hand: pick a pitch above, multiply by 1 for the minimum distance in metres, by 1.5 and 2 for the comfortable range, and by itself² into 1,000² for pixel density — e.g. P1.5: min 1.5 m, comfortable 2.25–3 m, (1000÷1.5)² = 444,444 px/m². Cabinet count is just wall size in millimetres divided by the 600×337.5 mm cabinet, rounded up.
